LETTER: Let’s hope the Town of Canmore has more important priorities for our community – such as housing, water resources and wildlife – and does not amend the Municipal Development Plan and land use bylaw to allow for the development of this so-called ‘wellness facility and boutique hotel’.

LETTER: Recently I have found myself concerned about an accused person’s right to the presumption of innocence when charged with an offence.

LETTER: Residents of Valleyview in Banff are about to lose the left turning lane into Valleyview when driving up Mountain Avenue.

LETTER: Be bold and give the wildlife, vegetation and landscapes a breather from more, more, more.

LETTER: I’d like to throw out some brickbats and bouquets following Saturday’s highway cleanup on the Trans-Canada Highway.

LETTER: I take this opportunity to express my disappointment with the proposed project of four- and six-storey buildings at 100 Palliser Lane.

LETTER: In my opinion – while I can still express it – is that their attempt to ruin the foundations of our democracy by directly interfering in local governments by over-ruling the will of the citizens is a disgusting disgrace and should be met with strong opposition by all.

LETTER: Why isn’t there community consultation on the need and placement of playgrounds in Canmore?

LETTER: By normalizing new behaviours, we can not only make where we live more beautiful, but do something satisfying that in a small but meaningful way makes where we live more resilient to a changing climate.

LETTER: Come back with a sensible redevelopment plan and charge for parking like everywhere else in the world. Developers are in the business of making money, not giving away freebies.
